As soon as I get my 300 Blackout go and no-go gauges from Dave, I will start offering 300 Blackout brass made from 5.56/223 brass as well 300 Whisper made from 5.56/223.

Trimmed to 1.355 and primer crimp removed as well.

I would be curious to compare the 2& see what differences there will be

And the official word is that my brass works 100% in the 300 AAC Blackout Chamber.

Hoser, what dies were you using to form this brass?

Hoser 10-30-2010 02:12 PM

Hosers Brass is good stuff

I bought five hundred a few months ago. The brass works great in my Encore and a Buddy's CZ.

Slugging my way through a 10,000 piece order right now. I will post pics when I am done.

Sometimes I do special order work...

A buddy of mine that shoots a 300/221 rimmed in IHMSA matches ask me to make him a few hundred cases. I ordered up some 357 Max brass and got to work making chips. 30 minutes later the brass was formed. I annealed the necks for him and sent it off. He got it last week, loaded it up and shot an 80x80 (thats a perfect score *twice* for you non silhouette types) that next day.

Sorry for the HiJack, but what are you using for annealing? I have several thousand to do, and the thought of holding cases and/or a propane bottle just makes me not want to do it.
