Still trimming your brass and I also have lots on hand and ready to ship.

Well after dumping over 995,000 gallons of fire retardant red goop on Arizona and New Mexico I am back home.

I spent this weekend getting caught up and am shipping a bunch of brass out this morning.

Lots of brass on the shelf and ready to ship.

Spent this weekend making Whisper/Blackout brass and loading shotshell ammo for dove season and the Sportsmans Team Challenge.

Nothing like a productive weekend.

Are you willing to ship to the UK?

How much would it be to supply and ship 500 LC, please?

I understand if this is extra hassle you're not willing to take on, but I am about to get my first AAC blackout rifle (an AR-15 in the UK-legal form, i.e. with no gas tube).

Cheers...

The 300 Whisper/Blackout is a very short case.

I did 1,000 pcs of brass for a customer and when he went to load them he ran into some issues.

When he ran them into his Forester resize die he was tearing the necks completely off. Not good.

I tried to figure out why, but was stumped. All the brass gauged good before I shipped it.

After some stressing and fretting, I figured it out.

If you have the expander ball adjusted too high it can end up in the neck portion of the die. Now you have the die trying to squish the neck down and the ball trying to expand it out. The poor case gets stuck in the middle.

Just a public service announcement...

I ran into this very issue last week, pulled the neck right off, oh well into the scrap bucket so I an use it when I try some brass casting

Are you back home& still making chips Hoser? current prices?

Edit to add, you mentioned you had to sort out a bunch of Military blanks, is that brass useable if you were to use a trim die& saw, or is the brass substandard otherwise?

I have spent most of this summer in Texas and NM working the wild fires. I should be home soon and can start shipping brass again.

Blanks dont work well at all. I just recycle them.

Back in town and getting my head above water.

Seems as though the work around the squadron and range piled up while I was gone. The end of playing catch up is close. Despite the snow and honey do list, I got some range time in yesterday and my OBR rebarreled to 260.

I am also proud to announce that I am also a Sponsor of the 2011 Thunderbeast Team Challenge. Just like the 2011 Steel Safari, you will find lots of my brass on the prize table.

Latest batch of brass is in the tumblers getting a final polish.
