pre/post ban question PLEASE HELP
 

The whole per/post ban thing confuses the crap out of me so maybe yall can help me out. I have a Nodak Spud recever that I wana build Krinkov on. I will do it on a form 1. I have heard that you can't use post ban recevers to do this . The one I have was made about a year ago. The 1994 ban expired so why does it even matter? Will I be breaking any laws by doing this? I could be totally misinformed, I sure hope someone here can set me straight!

Well first off there is no FEDERAL ban any more so it does not matter. If you live in a state that has restrictive laws that were the same as the Federal law they will still need to be followed.

As far as I am aware the '94 ban did not apply to NFA stuff since it was not listed in the law.
