I finally got to load up some 220gr Seirra Pro Hunters for my SBR today. I only tried three rounds to see how the rifle would do. All three shots went off great and locked the BCG back on an empty magazine:grin:


How do these primers look?

A couple of weekends ago I ran my first 400 rounds or so of both super & sub-sonic through my build...ran out of ammo before I ran out of fun :uzi2:

Those primer strikes look pretty good to me.

Have fun with your SBR and keep us posted.

Please post load data. Last week I worked up a couple of loads for my first 300 build. 10 1/2", pistol gas block, Ron Wilson,Pacnor 1x8, and TP555 3 way gas block. The load I liked best was 6.8gr Unique and Horn 220gr RN. @950FPS. 7gr was little hot. I want to try Blue Dot next for a slower burn rate. Anyone have this data.
