And then you can stay in your garage making thousands to sell to Board members!!!

But seriously, 180 grain bullets like the Nosler BT and Hornady SST do expand at subsonic velocities - not dramatically but enough to kill with one shot.

The point of the 240s is to dump a lot of energy in a long for caliber bullet that should be unstable after a few inches in a heavier than air medium. The combination of factors should contribute to a one shot kill through blood loss (more like an arrow than a high velocity bullet).

Larger game I have shot with the 240s tend to get hit, look around, continue to feed, lie down or fall down straight away and bleed copiously.

I am happy with either of those two results.

So let me get this straight. He dosen't sell bullets, he sells the equipment to modify them?

The reason I asked about AR feeding is I was jamming Hornady 220 RN into my M4 feed ramps.

Corbin sells the equipment to make the bullets from scratch. You buy dies, presses, copper tubing, lead wire, tungsten etc and make your own bullets. I'm sure you could modify others but the whole point of bullet making is putting together stuff that you can't buy. Is $2K a lot of cash just to make a few different types of subsonic bullets? Sure it is but you can also make all sorts of other bullets for anything. Once you've got the base equipment you can get dies for all sorts of designs and sizes. You can mix and match flat base, boattail, rebated boattail along with pointy bullets or round nose etc. The only limits are your ideas. For some this is not the way to go but for others who love the creative possibilities its a good way to spend hobby money just like others might on bass boats or RC planes etc. What does your hobby cost?
Hope that clarifies the Corbin angle a bit more. Its not really obvious from the posts unless you know who the maker is and what they sell.

I'll let you guys make the bullets and I'll "test" them for free :D

What does my hobby cost?....................I switch around from one thing to another so it's hard to say really but it all starts with this darned internet for $52 per month. LOL
