That one on ebay
Who got that stag handled custom that was on ebay? I've wanted a 184 since 1985 and still don't have one but I almost went for that wicked custom but the price was gettin' a little high. $1100+ I think was the sell price, but if i'd have joined in it would'a hit the 2s i bet (my luck). btw, Hey all, newbie lurker gettin official. I'll be knee deep in a "NIB" 184 right quick. Im commited to making the purchase and ruining a mint 184 by using it.
Side note: you can search me out on most gun or knife forums looking for "ashhoe", I'm a certified knucklehead. |
Hey Ashhoe,
Welcome to the forum. It appears that the stag handled 184 was purchased by someone who collects Buckmaster knives. A search of his (or her) ebay feedback shows several high end knives purchased within the last year. If you're planning to buy a 184 to use, why don't you save yourself $100-150 and buy a used one instead of a NIB? |
Yea, you're probably right. If I get a nib I'll never use it. Just pulled my esnipe, lol. I'll get a user first then I'll get some lookers.

Well, I did pull my "bid" for the NIB one on Ebay. My plan was to get a user and then maybe down the road get a nice one to show off. Plan didn't work and now I have a virgin (or very carefully and un-noticeably restored) patent pending 184. The sheath is 80% and only has the pins and one pouch. So I screwed myself, there's no way I can take this one out into the woods on a hunting trip. The sheath is ready to work but the knife doesn't even have sheath marks on it, it's perfect. I need a beater...
