coupe de grace load

First post on the board.
I'm reloading for my son in law. And would like a coupe de grace load.
Have some cast ,lubed,gas checked 190 gr that I'd like to get around 900fps. with H2400 or some quicker powders in the VV N350 range.

This would be for up close ,put downs. He whispered in the ear of a doe last year and it was a mess.

If it is a semi auto gun then AA#9 or 2400 is about as fast burning as you can use and still have the gun cycle. I usually start at 8gr and work my way up from there.

Sorry I was not clear.We will fire this out of a 14" barreled contender. So cycling the action is not an issue.
