I want an upper
 

Ok I want a 300 whisper upper for my ar-15 pretty badly, and I dont know if I'm just looking in the wrong spot or what but I cant find one. I would greatly appreciate any help in finding an upper for this awesome caliber, maybe a list of a few companies if they do in facty exist. thanks

JD Jones at SSK, if you can afford to fork out the $1000 plus for an upper only, is probably the best one from what I have read and learned.

If you don't have that much to spend, Model 1 Sales sells an upper without a bolt/carrier for $325. I have one and am happy with it, altough it may take some tinkering to get it right (see my post Model 1 Sales upper funtction problems). I believe their web sight is Model 1 Sales.com

AR15barrels.com sells both barrels and complete uppers. I have not heard anything about his quality but he has a pretty informative web sight. I think his complete upper is around $600.

Delton.com ( I think is the web sight) also sells 300 whisper uppers. I have heard or one or two people with these, that are pretty happy with them. I think that they go for around $600.

Quality of the Model 1 is quite good, and mine shoots 1 MOA with Remington bulk 125 psp reloads, but you will probably have to do some minor modifications to get it to work right.

I'm having an upper put together by AR15barrels.com (Randall)

I met him at the shot show this year, he seems pretty cool. It's a side business for him.

I'll be posting pictures as soon as it's done. I'm waiting on parts to come in before i send him my stuff.

It'll be a 10" barrel 1/8" twist, with the Troy suppressor guide machined into the end. It'll have a pistol length gas system with adjustable tube.

I'm probably going to shoot subsonic-suppressed almost exclusively.

I guess i won't be able to test it until my SBR paperwork goes through. The ATF has been very slow lately i guess. It might be the end of april before it goes through. If you're patient, you might wait for the full report when it's ready.

I JUST TRADED FOR AN UPPER IN 300 WHISPER WITH 16" BARREL. I HAVENT REALLY LOOKED AT IT TOO CLOSE SO I'LL GET SOME MORE INFO IF YOUR INTERESTED. I'LL TAKE $450.00 FOR IT. :D

I HAVE A COMPLETE FLAT TOP UPPER WITH 16" 300 WHISPER BARREL WITH BREAK, 4 RAIL GAS BLOCK. STANDARD CAR LENGTH HAND GUARD, BOLT AND CHARGING HANDLE. THE REAR PIN HOLE HAS BEEN ENLARGED FOR SOME REASON, MAKES IT HAVE A LITTLE PLAY WHEN MATED TO LOWER. CAME WITH 60 ROUNDS AMMO. 20 ROUND BOX OF COR-BON 2000FPS, AND ABOUT 40 HANDLOADS???????
