Kelly Kyle 06-16-2009 04:50 PM

It is mostly L.C. It will be sorted by Mfg.

I can vouch for Mr. Kyle. I ordered 100 pieces of primed brass from him, and received them sooner than I had expected. Just got them today and inspected everything. The batch I got was Speer brass. Good guy to deal with.

He also makes a great whisper rifle- I got 2 from him

I don't even have a rifle yet, but I do have the parts ordered. The receiver should come in pretty soon, but the barrel wont be here until around Christmas, and the suppressor.... who knows. I've got a long ways to go until I can shoot a .300/221. But I do have everything I need to reload it!

Ordered dies and brass from Mr Kyle. He sent them out super fast !! Brass looks good. I talked to him on the phone- he is a nice guy. If you need primed brass, I'd give him a call.

This primed brass is sized and ready to go, right?

al redneck 02-04-2010 11:11 PM

The brass is sized and ready to load- it is already primed. I wiped the lube off the outside. The trim length is 1.362- 1.371 for the ones I checked. I always use a bent wire to check for thinning webs; I found 20 out of 1000 that had a ring where web had thinned. Primer pockets not cleaned before priming and primers were a little high so seated primers deeper with hand primer. Some were actually a thousandth or 2 protruding above back edge of brass. I didn't find any with cracks and brass looked to be in pretty shape.

I just heard from Mr Kelly. He really cares about doing good work. He told me he has addressed the primer seating depth issue. I look forward to doing business with him in the future. He is planning on doing some 300 Whispers on the Howa action. I bet they will be really nice. I know the one I got from Spook built on the Howa really impressed me.
