Suppressed 357 mag refinished

I purchased a TC Contender in 357 mag that had alot of scratches
and alot of wear on the finnish for $250.
First thing I did was send the barrel to Mike at Tonado Tech to get
the barrel threaded and a thread protector made.
Like always the barrel came back pefect, Thank you Mike!
I had to make a dovetail cut for the longer forearm screw
and found hand cutting into a barrel took some time to get it perfect so the screws would line up.

All of the parts before oxide blasting that will get refinished

.
The barrel degreased and blasted ready for a new life

.
All of the parts with the first coat of Cerakote matte black

.
This 357 shooting 180grn subsonic loads is quieter than any of my 9mm pistols with subsonic ammo and a can.

Thats a Contender rifle forearm that i custom fit to the barrel, in the pictures
you can see the new unfinnished dovetail cut with a forearm screw mount that i installed so the forearm would mount.

Very nice!
Are you using a standard 9mm can?
I have an SWR Trident 9 and had a similar project in mind.
