Help with knife making???
 

Hi Everyone

This is my first post so be gentle, when I buy my flat stock 01 tool steel 4mm thick and 30mm wide it comes with a sanded type texture which I need to get to an almost mirror finish for handmade bushcraft knives I make.

I haven't even got a mill as yet and I'd like to ask if there's any machining I could use on a mill to achieve this as at the moment it is a laborious procession of water and various diamond stones?
