How heavy?
How's recoil?

Heavy is 26.2 pounds (according to my digital bathroom scale) and as far as recoil is concerend .... I am afraid to shoot it, so I don't know ....







Not really - I just got the scope mounted today ... I have heard that it recoils like a shotgun ... more of a 'push' than a 'hit' .... but I don't know for sure. I'll do a range report when I shoot it.

I have shot a couple of 50s, make sure to wear plugs and muffs. I dislike the muzzle blast much more than the recoil.
I've shot a Barret single shot and another AR lower mounted one that had a similar break to the one you have. I'd have to say that the barret break was much more comfortable to shoot.

I shot a Serbu 50 cal at the range one time. Between the weight of the rifle and the shark type break the recoil actually seemed just a little under my 30-06 that I was shooting that day. Have fun with it!
