Prospects of a new bullet
 

I recently sent a message to Berry's bullets ( www.berrysmfg.com ) and told him that there might be some interest in a new bullet design on this forum. I suggested a copper-plated soft lead HP (to facilitate expansion at sub velocities) in the 150 gr range and another in the 200-220 gr range to cover a broad range of rifling twist rates. Jay Phillips of Berry's Bullets e-mailed back and said that, although they are very busy with other orders at the moment, he may consider doing such a project in the future. If this is something you are interested in it may be worth dropping him a note and a thanks for considering the idea. From the e-mail I recieved he seems like a reasonable guy and their prices aren't out of line either. Maybe we'd be onto something here.

I like the Berry bullets for cheap plinking ammo in my handguns. Following your lead I also sent an email about adding 30 cal bullets.
