numbered chevron with nice documentation
I know that during the past weeks ebay was full of chevrons, numbered and un-numbered. Probably more chevron auctions than standard M9 ones
Anyway, the last numbered chevron http://cgi.ebay.com/Buck-Knife-188-b...QQcmdZViewItem has some very nice documentation, also offered for sale. I'd love to obtain a copy of the blueprints and the Material Review Report dated 1/16/87 and the interoffice memo from the Quality Assurance Manager of Buck......just asked the seller  |
I asked the seller too...I think he is willing to send copies of them, so I am going to give him my address.

Rex,
did you, at the end, manage to grab one of the numbered chevrons? |
Yes, Carlo I was able to win one on ebay...I managed to get one for 810.01, which was the most I have ever payed for an M9 followed by a Army issue General Cutlery one. It is numbered 77. I know you have one too by reading the posts on here..

Back in 2005 I was lucky enough to find the number #63 for "only" $ 850      The seller had already sent pictures of the above bayonet to this site. They are still available here http://www.m9bayonet.com/knives/chev...063/index.html P.S. Pictures do not show the optional cutter plate with safety stop and scabbard warning decal, but they were included in the purchase. |
