These barrels look very similar to each other...Anyone know the differences?
Are both similar types of Chrome Moly steel? Chrome lined or not?

I know everyone says the best way to run a 300 whisper is with a pistol length gas system, but I am interested in the carbine length so I can use my Knight RIS forend. I dont forsee using this build past 150 yds.

Anyone else running one of these with an MGI adjustable gas tube?
