Gas blocks for ar15,3 position
1 Attachment(s)
Made some gas blocks that have 3 position options. They are: closed for low pressure (subsonic),Open (max bleed off single shot) and partial ( hi pressure, high speed, .050" hole for gas bleed off). I offer 2 ways to do this.A lever or socket-slot is on the rotating pin.If you got a full length gas tube setup
then the lever would be recommended. If you got a pistol length gas setup you can drill a hole in the right location and insert allen wrench or screw driver to shift. Requires modding your gas tube by drilling out the end plug.Materials can be carbon steel,Stainless or aluminum.I cannot color aluminum.Don't know any local sources for this. Can parkerise the carbon steel material.Sizes available: 3/4'.7/8" and .936 or .937" dia. Cost about $60 for the two steel versions and $50 for the aluminum ones.Pics show two 3/4 size SS and .936" blocks, carbon in the white. |

These blocks work great with the YHM handguards. I remove a piece of the handguard to open the window for access to the adjustment. The vent on the opposite side vents into the handguards, not your fingers. I have posted pictures of mine in the .300 specific photos. Thanks Paladin Machine.

Got one of these installed on a Brux barrel from Spooky ... anyone know if a Daniel Defense M4 9.0 rail (or equivalent 9.0" rail) will fit over these? Thanks.
