Sierra bullets

I have used 87 grain sierra varminters in my .2506 for a long time now, they have taken deer (red sika roe falow) Others have mentioned how they felt they were a less than ideal choice, for game.
I have no issues with them, has any body else found them usefull on deer. i am interested in your observations.

I have not used anything smaller than a 100 grn bullet on deer, pigs, turkey and coyotes here in Texas. This is from a 257 Roberts. The 25-06 should be deadly with the TSX 115 grn bullets or any well made bullet in the 100 to 120 grn range for your gun. I would think distance to target would play a part in deciding the energy needed delivered down range.
