Hey pancanal,

Thanks for posting the pictures. Mine is on the way.

For those of you unfamiliar with the new offering from Lan-Cay, this bayonet has a high-strength aluminum alloy tang rod and crossguard and the blade has a series of holes to lighten it. Lan-Cay claims that these modifications have significantly reduced the weight of the unit.

Lan-Cay is making these available through their regular retailers. Go to their website at lancay.com to find where to get one.

Went through most that list and a lot of the dealers I called either don't carry that line or don't have them in stock. Was surprised to learn that some dealers will only sell basic M9 in OD or Black. I'd thought they'd make whole Lan-Cay line available for sale...

Anywho, went with a dealer and placed my order 10 days ago.. will be dropped shipped direct from Lan-Cay. The wait is killing me, LOL
