Well I finally got my Whisper put together. Model1Sales upper on my DPMS lower. I've got a couple other .223 uppers but this is my first whisper. My optcsi arrived yesterday and I loaded 100rds last weekend. Now all I have left is to shoot it!!!

Awesome! You're exactly one step ahead of me right now, still waiting on my brass to come in. Should be today, (fingers crossed!)

Only thing that's really bothering me now is what scope to top it with. I've got an extra 12x Leupold... but it doesn't seem to be exactly what I want, in my mind anyway. Seeing your's with a red dot makes me think in another direction. We'll see.

At any rate, currently I'm jealous!

I made 100 cases out of some .223 R-P brass that I had. I just spent the lasat couple days making another couple hundred .300 Whisper cases. I've got quite a few .223 cases laying around.

BlBoyd, What is that in the middle of your plastic ammo box. It look like kead bullets. Is that what it is?

Yep - 150gr Cast Lead.

I had some from loading my .30-30 and thought I'd try them.
