help with ak47 pistol
 

i cok back and wont keep firing semi auto? i have to keep doing it to fire... if you all know reply back. its a ak 47 pistol and also the rod comes off after a few rounds?

My guess is that you are not getting enough gas pressure so you may need to enlarge the gas port but it is hard to say without more information.

Did you build this and if so what did you build it from and how was it made?

As for the rod coming off, what rod? My AKs, and I have quite a few, don't have any rods other then the cleaning rod :grin: Do you mean the gas piston? If so, you need to pin or weld it in place!
