Speer's 125gr TNT next to the 130gr Hot-Cor in .308 Calibre. Good for whispers? We shall see. The ogive is the same calibre on both. The frustum on the Hot-Cor with its slightly higher mass should yield better terminal ballistics for subsonic loads.

Regardless of their use with subsonic loads for the .300 Whisper, both of these are likely good choices for 7.62x39 loads in the Ruger Mini-30.
