Might as well start this rumor here. Looks like Hornady is coming out with a "New" 30 caliber cartridge that'll feed through an AR-15. I think this is gonna be big.:grin:

No thats a 308win sized case, my guess is its off a 223 or 762x39:wink:

It’s not the Whisper, although I did get 500 primed Hornady cases for the price of 100 unprimed cases from the same source. I also got to play with a 6x35, and a .224 bullet that was 100ish grains. It was longer than any match 6mm I’ve ever seen. Unfortunately I don’t have a .50 BMG. The sample of the .50 I got to play with is bad ass. I played with 300 blackout 125 accutip.

Hopefully they dont team up with ruger or drop the ball with a 10 twist. I can think of another cartridge they built that is half a shooting system.

Between x39 and rar I belive, who knows on the name :rolleyes:

I would like to see ruger pick it up and chamber it in their tactical bolt gun, 1~9 or 1~8 would be nice =)
