Who’s going to video your hunts this year? If you do, post your subsonic hunting videos here. I’d like to see your hunting rig, the video setup, and the load you’re using. Anyone that has read my threads knows my camera skills suck eggs. I’m great with a gun, but I could learn a thing or two about shooting film. Guns don’t need to be suppressed, but if they are, list the suppresser and its performance. I don’t want to start a bashing thread so leave that at the door. If your hunt went bad, let us know what went wrong. Have fun and hunt safe.

I'll be back in the country soon and plan to whittle down the doe population on our farm. As a side bar, if anybody has any special gun or hat mounted compact video recorders they could recommend, it would be greatly appreciated.
I'll be using your bullets alleycat.

I "accidentally" ran over a cow elk on the way up this morning does that count?
Hurt my back dragging the thing up the tailgate that I took off to use as a ramp. Gotta remember to throw a come-along and video recorder behind the seat for the next one

I don’t make bullets, but I did/do help with the R&D for Outlaw State bullets. I’m not affiliated with them other than I consider the owner of OSB a friend with similar interests. I’d like to think I helped them develop a great bullet. One day I will have to write about the odd things bullets do.

Only if the truck has a muffler on it. I’d be happy to help with the elk overpopulation problem anytime. No really I mean it.

I worked on a mount for a gun cam today. The camera is hard mounted and wants to auto shutdown in a shot string. I’m going to setup a soft mount.

Well I said good or bad. I had three does at about 450 yards feeding towards me for about thirty minutes. They got to about 300 yards and a small buck had made its way down wind of me. We have storms in the area and I got busted. The does ran to an escape route next to a fence and stopped. I ranged them at 240 yards and turned on the barrowed gun cam that was almost dead. The video sucks! Don’t use a flip cam. I got the hit, but not the deer hitting the ground. I couldn’t get the camera to stay on long enough to get the shot on the second deer. The tally for the day was two deer.
Gun ------ 10.5” 300 Blackout
Suppressor------- AAC Cyclone
Scope--------- 2x7 Leopold with custom subsonic reticle
Bullet 220------ OutLaw

The first deer was shot center mass through both lungs. I did a few 360s and hit the ground. The remaining two deer ran directly to me and I shot the second one at 60 yards. The bullet hit the third rib from the back and stopped under the skin in front of the shoulder on the off side. (19” of penetration) That deer ran about 35 yards and fell.

I was wanting to do that myself , but did not take the time to make a mount for my camera. I still may try to get in the shop before the end of the season and try to slap one together.
And Oh yeah that is awesome.
