I am trying to load some 200gr SILH RCBS cast bullets
There is no crimp groove so I am not crimping them
They do have Gas Checks. The problem is whe I finish seating them I can very easily push the bullet all the way into the case with finger pressure??
Is the gas check causing the problem or is it something else?
I am using REDDING Dies
Thanks from the new guy!!

If you are casting for a 308 bore you may need to size at 309 to get a good fit dependign on your neck sizing die. Slightly oversized lead shoots better, too. Have you checked your barrel bore diameter? You should. Make sure you are not undersizing the lead.

What size expander ball are you using?
Are you trying to neck only size the brass?
Are you using an expander or Lyman M die to open the neck
for seating the cast bullets?
What size are your cast bullets after going thru your Lubrasizer? Before going thru the Lubrasizer?
Gas check or not wouldn't make a difference by itself - though you may be seating them below the neck - best to have them in the neck if possible to avoid a canted bullet base.
trying to help trouble shoot :twoguns: but need more info.
