In my contiouous search for additions to www.buck-184.com (http://www.buck-184.com/) I found this auction on eBAY (http://www.qksrv.net/click-1671811-10381315?loc=http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll%3FViewItem%26item%3D6521430502&SID=buck184) that is a great looking knife but it includes what the seller is calling an optional pouch that was availble for these knives...
Does anybody have more info on these pouches? It looks like this has two small pouches and this is the standard large pouch to me...
Here is the description from the auction:
I purchased this knife new and have had it in storage since. The Tang is stamped, Buck, 184<, U.S.A., Pat. Pend.. It has never been sharpened or used. The blade does not have any marks from sliding it in and out of the sheath because I stored it out of the sheath, ( I will have to put it in the sheath for shipping though ). It has the bead blasted finish on the whole blade including the serrated edge making it an early1986 model. The pat. pending stamp means Buck had not received a Pattent # for this model yet, making this knife a very popular knife to collectors. Espiecially in this condition. The blade is aprox. 7.5 inches long and the total length of the knife is aprox. 12.5 inches. The sheath has the two small standard pouchs with the Silva compass in one PLUS I AM INCLUDING THE LONG POUCH THAT WAS AN OPTION TO PURCHASE SEPERATELY AT THE TIME. Both knife and sheath look like they just came from the factory. The box is shelf worn but fully intact. Includes all the original paperwork.
