Kinda interested, seems I have more 1:8 twist barrel blank than I need for my project and was thinking one some other interesting caliber, kinda weighing this against the Covert...T2 AlleyCat ? care to share anymore info ;-)
on the one hand 6.8 brass is harder to come by and more spendy on the other the covert takes a custom reamer and die set ....

or maybe I could go with a 7.62x 40 though it was kinda designed for a slower twist.

Made for a customer recently and haven't heard back.Was a 12" with 8 twist.

You might also trade fast twist barrel stock for more appropriate slower twist barrel stock. Both are desirable for those who need it. Why go to the effort of fabricating a rifle which you know won't have optimum ballistics for at least some applications.

Just a custom size die and spook can chamber your tube, its designed for a 1-8 twist also. If doing a ar platform then you will need 6.5 grendel mags for the best function which c-products or whatever the new company name is now has plenty of.

ok ...Spook how about it ? I knew you chambered barrels, do you profile and contour too? Or would I do that first or after words...how busy are you and what kinda price , oh and I gather you guys got a run of Dies made.. still have any and how much ?

Still would like some First hand info on the HRT. Seems so much easier to me, nothing proprietary about it and I could do it all myself without having to wait on any custom reamers or Dies.
