I need to make a decision on a scope for my 300 BLK subsonic rifle. I'm leaning toward the Vortex Viper HS 1-4x24 with the TMCQ Reticle @ $480 or the Weaver Tactical Rifle Scope 30mm Tube 1-5x 24mm First Focal Illuminated Close-Intermediate Range Reticle (C I R T) @ $660.

I think I like the Weaver a bit more but I'm not sure how the stada lines would fall into place on the 300 BLK subsonic. Wish I could barrow one to see how it works. Has anyone used either of these two scopes with sub sonics? If so could you please let a fellow know what you think?

Thanks

Have a Burris Fullfield II 3x9x40 that works great. They even have a tac. model for 40 more. I leave it on 6. Very good scope and a LOT cheaper. Not ffp though.

I went with a midway exclusive Weaver 3x10 x 40 Big target turrets with Mildot. Like it lots and its been $299 every other month.

Thanks for the replys folks but I've paired it down to a choice between just those two.

The way these two scopes work when you set the magnification to 1 power is the illuminated "brackets" shrink down and you use them like a red dot site. It makes for very fast short rang target enguagement. (I'm thinking 3 gun hear) Then when you need to shoot at rang you turn the power up and the reticle gets bigger and is used as a BDC.

So if anyone has any experence with either of these two scopes I'd sure like to hear from you.
