I've got an SSK AR15 suppressed .300 Whisper. I have some Cor-Bon subsonics that shoot well in it, however I have not been happy with the terminal results.
I've tried some Cor-bon 150 grains, but they didn't feed well.
I really just want the thing to be hearing safe in hunting situations, so I think I'd be much better suited with a supersonic load with more knockdown power and better trajectory as long as it stayed under 140 db. The action of the auto is already too noisy to get away with repeated shots without alerting hogs.
Does anyone make supersonic .300 Whisper hunting loads that feed well in the AR platform, or is learning to reload my only option?

owning a wildcat type cartridge and not reloading for it doesn't make sense to me ...
I would get a modest press and get started .. you can do it without spending a wad to get going.
I would look hard at the 125 Sierra Pro-Hunter or 125 Nosler ballistic tip bullet for supers and look real hard at the 225 or 240 gr Outlaws for subsonic.
OR .. you could send it off to be "re-chambered" to the wild new fad cartridge .. 300 AAC BLACKOUT and buy factory ammo from Remington and others who are gearing up for that round.

Last year I was able to do some hog hunting in Alabama. I had great...nope I had awesome results with barnes tipped triple shocks 130gr on top of 18.? grains of win 296 at around 2250-2300fps always use safe loading practices and never consider anyone elses data safe...including mine. Head shots at 130yrds..neck shots at 130 yrds great performance. I also had a very nice 125gr sierra sp load at about the same speed that seemed like it would do well but I didn't get to shoot anything with it. Hope this helps.

I dont rember the data I used, but it was with a speer hot cor 200 gr with a fed gmm small primer , vn110, and at around 1040fps. Entered behind the 220lb hogs right shoulder and traveled along the neck breaking it and exiting out of the jaw. One big ass wound channel. This is the load I use to shoot does in the front yard with "head shots @ 125yds or less and works well.
I did however to shoot a massive long horn bull @ around 150yds for my neighbor that was causing problems with the same load, it however took 2 shots to the head to finally knock him out "one shot and he was on the ground the he was bellowing" straight through the top of the head and into the brain on the first shot, guess it knock the computer out all the way

What exactly would be involved in getting it "re-chambered" for 300 blackout? I read about reamers from Pacific Tool and Gauge. Would it be an easy thing to swap out?
I found Reed's ammo that makes 300 Whisper ammo with 125 grain Nosler BT, but they are out of stock now. I'm also worried about problems with feeding in the SSK because I've heard of lots of brass not working well.
