Does anyone have any experience with the .35 x 39; or his slightly more popular brother--the 9 x 39?
There is such an attractive a package for it:

I know of a couple people working on a 338x39 since the 9mmx39 isnot available in the USA however I belive the 338 sphincter would be a more viable canidate instead of the 338x39 "mag issues" however the brass is a bitch to get.
If someone would come out with either caliber in a sbr ak or ak pistol then it would easily be my next purchase since I have had a need for a suppressed 9x39 ak for a long time :)

.358 ARk, made from 7.62x39Russian....
Similar to the 9x39mm, but the .358 is laid out for use in a AR-15.....
The 9x39mm has more case taper and less shoulder....

Starting to work on an ar for the 358 Delta for cast bullets that is being made by Delta Company Arms. 7.62 x 39 with little taper, Gremlin case necked out. FYI

I've only shot the .358 ARk out of a 10.5" upper.....I built a couple 16" uppers but they've been sitting here on the bench for over two years un-shot...

There was an Indiana gunsmith that built ARs and bolt actions in a similar cartridge that matched the velocity of the 35 Remington with 200 grain bullets IIRC. I don't remember his barrel length. There's a link in the thread to a very old article about a converted Mini-14, different versions have been around a while.

I thought that I read a while back that Indiana was doing away with that stupid law?
Good to see ya here Kurtz, I really like that 6.8 ARK. Kinda slow around here but the low noise level suits my age better then ARF.

So, can the .358 ARk still be used in an AK, or SKS platform?
