I have a Ruger M77 MkII that I had rebarrelled to a 300 Whisper. I am looking for a take down stock that is a two piece stock. I have seen them before where they come apart in the grip area. Anyone have any idea who makes them and/or have any experience with them?

Hi there,
Not sure about a two piece take down stock but Choate do a neat folding sniper stock...and I'm pretty sure they have one for the Ruger. Hope this helps.

How about checking with Robert Barrkman (Robar) for a real nice folding stock.
Just go to www.robarguns.com and check out the QR2-F rifle to see which stock I mean.

Robar works both with Remington as with Ruger actions, so I guess this is your best bet.
Good luck.
