Nice shooting rig you have there. Am new to this 300 wisper,,, I am assuming that with the 125 gr loads you are way over the speed of sound,, and while using the suppressor what are you gaining? It has to be cracking the cound barrier. I am blonde so take it uasy on me,
thanks for your input

Yes the 125 and 130gr loads are supersonic, the nice thing is with the can you dont need hearing protection. I like to shoot all my loads through the can when I am able. Shooting through the supressor keeps from upseting the nieghbors ( hippy tree hugger types) I was shooting this AM. with 220 gr Smk over 9.8 gr 296 and they are very quite ,shot into < 1MOA...:nanabang:

Supersonic loads with a suppressors sound like a 22 LR. I have hunted with them for a couple of years. My hunting partners can't hear the subs. They can hear the supersonic shots, but they say it sound like its miles away instead of three or four hundred yards.
That's a hell of a shooter. Time to send the scope in to Leupold and have the drop compensation installed.

I just can't afford a high dollar scope at this time ( holidays and all) but yesterday I installed a bsa sweet 22 6x18 and the Bullet drop adjustments seem pretty darn close. I plan to play with it more and make a new dope sheet for it until i save some $ to get a new scope!

For about $70 Leupold will put drop compensation in the 3x9 Leupold scope you already own. It takes about a month mailbox to mailbox.
