Hello,
I was curious if you guys had any idea what kind of bayonet I can put on this puppy. the lug only sits 4 inches from the end of the flash suppressor. not sure what to do, also I have not sbr's this setup. I wanted to know if I wer to apply for a silencer stamp and "permanently attach" it to the rifle, would the length requirement be met therefor negating the need for a sbr as well? thanks for the input.

you should be able to edit the title in your first post, also this site experienced a bad bit of downtime this spring,& I think that all of the previous posters have not come back yet, so try to bear with it before getting too frustrated.

Posting pics of a SBR on the net and then telling people that it isn't registerd aint real smart, unless you just wana go to jail. But to answer your ques, yes if you weld your can to the barrel it counts as barrel lenght. But there is no way in hell I would weld my can to the barrel, just spend the 200 bucks and SBR your lower.

From what I have gleaned here& elsewhere it is illegal to own an upper with less than a 16" barrel minus the sbr stamp unless you have a pistol lower you can legally attach to it.
your quickest bet to get legal would be to buy a stripped lower& register it at the time of sale as a pistol, that way you can legally have a short barrel installed on it.

I think he is actually asking if he can weld a bayonet to it to not have it be an SBR.
This is too funny.
