In an attempt to come up with something removable that I could hide an adj gas block and what ever "muzzle
accessory" under ... I dug out some old CF tube and machined it to fit in place of the original aluminum. Still needs cut to length but I was wondering about it looking chubby?http://usera.ImageCave.com/Spook/lookfat.jpg

Is it for shooting or for hanging on the wall of your den? If it's for shooting, it's what the target looks like that matters. I wouldn't care if a 300 Whisper looks like Rosie O'Donnell if it shoots sub moa at 500 yards. It's a novel idea making a full length reflex suppressor out of carbon fiber. That's what it looks like. It will look better when it's sanded smooth.
I have straight cylinder carbon fiber handguards on several of my AR's though none that long. They're very comfortable to hold, very light weight, and ride on sandbags well for precision shooting. I dislike aluminum handguards , particularly ones with Picatinny rails for all the opposite reasons. They look fat to me.

Turn it into an expansion chamber, and you have what these guys call the "ARIES" system. BTW, never buy anything from them.

Nothing wrong with a chubby fore end, I think once trimmed to length it is going to look very nice.

It's true that black is slimming. If you go FDE, it will look overweight!

Carbon fiber handguards will not heat up like aluminum ones and are light and strong. Not to mention slimming!
