I wish I could read Russian but I can't and I can't find a translator....

Here is the thread http://talks.guns.ru/forummessage/64/78431.html

In that thread they are talking about one of these Phrobis Modular Field Knives with USMC markings... well, I assume that is what they are saying

I am posting the link and pics here with the hopes that someone here can read Russian or that they will find this thread from the links as that is how I found them...

The MFK was available with about six different front plates; Army, Navy, USMC, USCG and others. Still strictly a commercial item.

Firm "Phrobis", subsequently purchased by firm "Buck", with decades was kotraktorom of servicemen it made knives and bayonet- knives. Steel accurately, until, I know. This model - derivative of bayonet- knife M9 for M16, or more precisely - "CUK" - Combat Utility Knife - for USMC and Navy Seals.Sdelan in THE USA in the 90th purchased on the very low price - 80 usd. Usually, in there they stand to 200 - it depends on year, model and state. It distinguishes bayonet, that that it is more compact and easier, truth there is no cutting pliers and grindstone. Garda changes.
