What would be the optimum gas port diameter for a 300 whisper,pistol length gas system 10.5" bbl? Thanks JP

.118 with a caveat for high velocity loadings... which is kinda funny :grin: when you think about it.

when we finished my upper we settled on a .116" gas port dia. that was the ID of gas tube so it didn't make much sense to go larger. I run a standerd buffer thet has had the weights removed to make weight = to that of a carbine buffer 1350gr. it seems to work great I have a 16" barrel and pistol length gas tube.:sniper:
