I am looking to load some 200gr cast boolits in my 300 Whisper and I am curious what people are using to crimp the case mouth? I normally have loaded cast boolits in calibers that i have a crimp die for. Do you flare the case mouth and then crimp?

yes and yes. But I crimp as a last step - not when seating the bullet. Most of the time I use regular seating dies with the stem screwed back...

What crimp die do you use?

Use the seating die with the seating stem backed out after you have seated the bullet.(2 steps)
I Crimp the Lee 200gr cast in a separate step using the Lee .30 Carbine Factory Crimp Die, and a large E clip sitting on top of the shell holder. I have also done it without the E clip but the crimp seems too far back. I haven't really noticed a difference when shooting, so it may not matter
