We are proud to introduce the first in our new line of cartridges the 50 Thumper™. The 50 Thumper™ is a subsonic rifle cartridge that fires a 600-750 grain .510 diameter bullet at 1050 fps. Like many high velocity rounds the subsonic 50 Thumper™ retains most of its velocity and energy out past 1000 yards. The 50 Thumper™ as with all the Thumper™ line is designed on the K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid) principle. The Thumper™ uses readily available cases, bullets, and powder for easy reloading. It can use military 50BMG bullets as well as a wide assortment of cast bullets and any number of VLD 50 BMG bullets now on the market. Unlike the 50 BMG, the 50 Thumper™ can be shot for less than a dollar a round. Recoil is less than a .308 Winchester making it a truly enjoyable gun to shoot especially when suppressed. The 50 Thumper™ truly surpassed our expectations as a wild boar cartridge. There is simply no concern about a wounded hog getting away.

The 50 Thumper™ was designed to be fired in our new custom rifle “The Hawg”. It is built on the extremely popular Remington 700 long action. The actions are blueprinted in our shop and the trigger is cleaned up as to pull and feel. It has a match grade 1-9 ˝ “twist” barrel. The stock is a Bell and Carlson Varmint/Tactical stock with fully adjustable butt plate and a cheek piece that is adjustable for height. It comes standard with a Kick Eeze butt pad, tactical bolt knob, custom muzzle break, and a picatinni rail on top. You can have your choice of bead blast or polished bluing or Parkerizing on the steel parts. Our optional custom suppressor brings out the full potential of “The Hawg”. The suppressor is made out of 4130 steel and finished to match this rifle. It is constructed with a stainless steel monolithic core baffle system inside for strength and durability. Ease of disassembly eliminates the worry of lead and powder buildup. Our custom suppressor not only quiets the 50 Thumper™, but reduces recoil.

Wild hogs have become a huge problem here in the United States; they are destroying crops and grazing land as well as natural habitats. Most states consider the wild hog an invasive species and therefore have no hunting regulations on them. “The Hawg” chambered in 50 Thumper™ is our answer to this problem.

“The Hawg” is an incredibly effective hunting rifle. It allows hunters to shoot all day long without breaking themselves or the bank.

More info please on the 338 Thumper. The 50 is a good idea but I like my ARs so I think its a little long for the mag.

Will you just sell barrels?
Will you carry Dies?
What size bolt will you need for it?
Pricing for above items?

The 50 THUMPER is not a little to long for the AR its a LOT to long and big for the AR.

We are just getting the info on the 338 THUMPER put together. As I get more information I will post it here. The 338 uses a 223 case cut back to the start of the shoulder and you stick a 338 bullet in it. It uses standard 223 mags and bolts. We will be carrying dies for the 338. We will be selling uppers and not full guns. We are not sure at this point if we will sell just barrels or not.

Well I hope you do decide to sell just barrels because I prefer to build my uppers with the parts that I like and mostly likely already have. I like the idea and hope I can mess around with the round to see if its as good as it sounds.

Will the uppers use a gas-piston?

We were not planning to use gas pistons on the standard uppers but if you wanted a gas piston we could build you an upper with one.

The reason we are not planning on using a piston is after talking with a number of companies who make guns with gas pistons and companies who make gas piston conversions the unanimous thought was a gas piston is going to be much loader then a gas impingment system and since the whole idea is to suppress it we would be better off not using a gas piston.

Hey I mentioned your 338 Thumper on a recent thread about wildcat options for a 223 based rifle on AR15.com.

http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=6&f=42&t=315082

Does this mean I get a discount?

What is the barrel length on the first AR? What thread will it use for muzzle devices? Any price estimate for an upper exacly like the first AR with a 16" heavy barrel like the AR below it?

Both AR pictured have the same contour barrels the rifle with the black stock has a 16" barrel the one with the tan stock has a 12" barrel.

With the limited amount of rounds fired we have been getting sub MOA groups. We hope to get out to our test range this week to work up loads and really test accuracy.

Scalce,

Thanks for putting us on another board and since you did I would be glad to give you a deal ( retail + 10%)

Just went and put the .338 through it's paces and from what we saw this is going to be a real throroughbred. Subsonic is BB gun quiet at 950-1000 fps with MOA groups. Supersonic 160 grain bullet ran at 2100-2200 fps. 100 yd MOA groups. Sent 90 to 100 rounds through it with a variety of shooters. They will be posting their opinions shortly.

The subsonic rounds don't cycle the action.

That makes it a turd compared to the .338 spectre which has no problem doing so, pushing the same projectiles at the same speed.
