So far I have found the cheapest price to be $0.42ea (not delivered) and was wondering how low a price I should expect to pay if buying 500 at a time as the price above is quoting?
The reason I ask is I'm looking to buy a www.Corbins.com setup to make my own if it is significantly less per bullet. Corbin is working up a quote for me now.

SMKs are expensive however many you buy --- awful sticker shock.

Especially when you build an SBR for QCB :)

the last time I bought any 240 grain SMKs I paid 90/500 delivered... as you can imagine I bought a couple thousand.

I just finished my build on an M4 platform. Currently working on load development and breaking in the barrel. The cheapest I can get the Sierra 240 SMK is for $225 per 500 (plus shipping). However, the real bargain for me are the Hornady 208 gr. A-max. $130 per 500, plus shipping. I believe I will use the A-max for everyday subsonic plinking and save the SMK's for the real deal.
Has anyone ever thought about doing a bullet "group buy" like they do on Snipers Hide?
