Can anyone share their loads for 148-175 grn subsonic rounds that will cycle in a ar15 with pistol position gas port. Loads for LilGun/aa#9/reloader7/h335 would be great as those are the powders I have on hand right now.

I settled in with Blue Dot for 150gr, 168, 175, & 180, but I did try 8.2gr Lil-Gun with the 180gr.

I am still working on loads, and I just bought 1000 surplus 147 gr. bullets to work up a cheap plinking load with.
I have tried using a 150 gr. flat-nose bullet for the .30-30. It cycled fine using 10 gr. of AA1680. However, the spread was from 894 fps. to 1153 fps. So only half of the rounds were subsonic, and the velocity spread was excessive.
I might try a couple of different powders and see if I can get a little better consistency.
I have used AA#9 with a 150 gr. bullet before, and got much more consistent results. But these were shot through a Contender, so I can't say for sure if it will cycle in a semi-auto or not.

To add to the OP...
What's the lightest Subsonic load that anyone here has had function in AR15's? I'm looking for plinker loads in the 110 gr range...but want to stay subsonic.
