Hi there

I recently purchased a Phrobis M9 from the states for just $50.

It sounded a little too cheap to be true. The person selling it said it was unissued and in great condition. I have taken photos.

Can anyone tell me if it is legit, and maybe how old it is (you guys seem to be able to point at any M9 and say "Ah that one is from 1992, etc" just by looking at them!)

Was it worth $50?

Looks real to me.. 4th generation narrow font... Did you get the scabbard too? Looks like it is in almost mint condition. So 50.00 is a good price for it..

Yep, Scabbard came with it (it also had a magazine pouch on it), and the sharpening stone has had absolutely no scratches or use on it!

I can't believe I got it this cheap! When the gun show came to Penrith a few months back, they had two similar Phrobis M9s' in worse condition, that were selling for $400+ each.

I have been offered two of the same M9s in the same condition for $200, wondering if I should take it or not.
