Is there a quietest powder

Is any particular powder quieter than the others? i am currently running aa#9.

the faster the powder, and smaller the charge :smile:

VVN 110 and Alliant Power pistol in bolt guns/TC's. AR's seem to require a longer burn curve to cycle reliably.

I've been using AA#9 in my T/C Contender, but I'm also looking for something quieter. I just loaded up some 220 gr. SMKs using AA#2, but have not had a chance to shoot them yet. I'll post back when I get a chance, but probably won't be until after the first of the year some time.
