Ok, the 555th jig rental seems to be working well and I have two more tools that people might want to rent... The problem is obvious that these two tools require much more kill and time to use... The sad part is also that I have nt managed to find the time to build an AK for myself yet using these tools...

Anyways, who would be interested?

What would a fair price be?

What I can supply is the Plinker Rivet Jig, the Xybec Barrel Press, and my Heaspace gauges... I even have a good supply of rivets that I can ship with the tools...

All you would need is a press, your receiver (100% or flat that is all bent and fitted), and your parts kit!

I am proposing that we do something like we are doing with the 555th flat bending jig but I was thinking that the time needs to be extended for some people...

How about $30 for use upto 3-weeks... each additional week is an extra $5?

As for rivets, I need to figure out a reasonable price and how to do them but the best might be to ship the presses with a supply of rivets and people that rent the jig are able to buy the rivets if they need them or just leave them in the box for the next person....

Should I force myself to do a rivet kit and get pics up before I offer to rent things out or is someone here willing to take it first and figure it all out... I have just been working long hours and I have had some problems with some of my other internet projects that have killed any free time to work on building an AK...

What to you all think... fair? ... anybody interested?

Here are the tools:

ALSO... THESE TOOLS ARE HEAVY...! We will want to do something like we are doing with the 555th jig to keep shipping costs reasonable!

I'd REALLY be interested.

Perhaps add it to the jig for additional $$$. Hows $10-$15ish??? Shipping will probably add a small bit.

I have not deleted this offer yet as I am still considering renting these other tools oyt but after some concerns with my 555th jig I do have some serious reservations... i have way too much money tied up in my tools and I am not pointing fingers at anybody in particular but it is clear that if I rent my tools for $20 people treat them like they are worth $20.

I have long term plans for my tools and frankly to see them get abused is too frustrating...

I have a Bridgeport mill and other tools and I am hoping to get the mill running soon. I may look into my options for how I can make some tools that would be available but at this point I am retracting my offer to rent out any more of my own tools...

Sorry... The info to buy is in the threads here on the forums... I may change my mind later but it really depends on how the renting of the jig goes from here forward.
