Gentlemen,
Would any of you happen to know how the edges were put on U.S. M7 Bayonets at the factory?
I have a few M7's with rough asymetrical edges and was curious what sharpening method I could use to properly and symetically re-sharpen the blades to original factory spec.
Would it be best to use some sort of simple pull through type sharpener or would it be better to use a Lansky type that holds the blade and you can set the angle and fully sharpen by hand?
If a Lansky type sharpener was used, what would be the proper angle to set for the M7?
I look forward to hearing some feedback.
