I am new to the boards but have been lurking for a couple months. Thanks to all of you out there I just ordered a barrel from tp555 and have the bug really bad. In the mean time I am getting some stuff loaded up to play with when it arrives. I have plenty of data for Subs but I am looking for a good supersonic load for the 110 v-max out of a 10.5 barrel. It looks like I should be able to push it close to 2300 fps give or take some which would be fairly compairable to the 6.8. I plan on using for coyotes, rabbits, and any antelolpe that stagger too close. Please let me know if I am beating a dead horse, or if it has already been done please point me to the data. Thanks ppd3180

It well still be a little anemic compared to the 6.8, but the Sierra manual lists H110 with a max load of 19.8 grains for a velocity of 2150fps. As always work up to the max load. I used H110 to get about 2175 fps out of 125gr bullets out of my 16" barrel.

What is your application? I like shooting the 125 to 150 gr bullets for hunting.

I appreciate the load data. I am going to play with 125's as well but would like to do 110's for varmint control around the ranch. Has anyone played with the 110 grain 30 carbine bullets. My guess is that they will expand well on varmints but at what velocity can I push them before they come apart? I realize they will not have a very good BC but for a plinker and small game getter would they work. I have a very large supply of Berry's 110 plated carbine bullets. Or finally is it even worth trying the 110's? I am looking for a thinner skinned bullet that can act as a varmint round so is there a 125 that fills this niche? Thanks all for the help. Cav Scout, do you know what your velocities are with this load? Rob
