Interesting Buck 1994....Diemaco?

I just came through an interesting Buck M9 1994.
The blade is missing the KL ***** markings we saw in the dutch topic, but there are, in my opinion, too many coincidences.
1) I purchased it directly from The Netherlands;
2) the blade has the correct 1994 marking (1995 dated Fastex);
3) the bayonet has the same carrier we saw in the dutch topic.
What do you think?

I was finally able to collect more information about this bayonet.
It came from a Warrant Officer of the Dutch Army Fuselier Guards, who used it many years during his service.
He traded his issued bayonet with this one from an US soldier at a para course held in Germany.
I first thought that some diemaco contract M9s couldn't had been engraved with the serial number (armoures who kept few M9 for themselves?), but I was abviously wrong.
So, not a diemaco contract M9, but still a nice addition to my collection!

Well Carlo, at least you know the history of the knife. All is original except the knife itself.
I guess you will just have to keep looking... Sooner or later I know you will find one..

I agree with you Rex, it is just a question of time .... :cool:
I took a second look at the woodland camo carrier, and I would say that the purchase is fully justified even by itself.
Not only the fit with the M9 scabbard is perfect, but it allows the soldier to quickly disengage the lower part of the scabbard, while the Fastex is still attached to the carrier .... it seems to me that the Dutch Army designed it specifically for the M9 bayonet.
Since the Diemaco M9s were not so many and the Dutch Army adopted, later, a different bayonet, there probably shouldn't be too many of these carriers around. :confused:
