Well I finally got my barrel that I ordered several weeks ago so now I get to play. :nanabang: I will get some reports and pics up tomorrow but here is what I have.

DPMS lower and flat top (A3) upper
Ergo Grip in OD
Magpul trigger guard
Midwest Industries Rifle length railed hand guards
Magpul OD rail covers
Elcheepo VFG
I want an OD Magpul UBR stock but there are none to be had so I have an Ace on it for now.

The barrel is a 16" Lilja M4 profile (without M203 step) fluted with 1:8 twist. It has a PRI low profile gas block and 5/8 x 24 threads for my suppressor (AWC Thundertrap). Right now the barrel is a bright stainless but I plan on Duracoating the barrel black with Magpul OD green flutes.

At the moment I will be running old Colt 20rd mags but I want to use 20rd OD Pmags to make ID easy. I thought since I was doing OD mags I would do the other parts OD as well.

I have not picked out an optic yet. I was leaning toward a compact 2-7 x32 or such but a local place has some Burris 3-9x40's on close out for a super good deal and think I am going to have a custom built drop reticle put in.

I have a bunch of 150~gr .30 cal bullets I think I will break this in with then I have 100 240gr SMK's right now but they are much more expensive then the 220gr so I will be looking at those.

So what am I forgetting?

Powder, primers, brass, chrono, dies, developing a load that will cycle subsonic and lock the bolt back....

As the first line says I am going to try to get pics up tomorrow.

I have 4 powders to try for loading along with plenty of brass and primers. I have dies.

I will be borrowing a chrony from my buddy and start working on loads. First thing is to break in the BBL.

I bought 1600, No9, and 2400 just for loading base on what I have read on here. I had something else on the shelf that I read would/could work but I most likely wont try that if I do good with the others.

With 220's and 240grn subsonic ammo try the 1600 first and you
may not need to use the others

Keep in mind there is still lots I need to do to this but it is shootable now :twoguns:

I put 9 rounds through it tonight cleaning after each for a break in. Tomorrow I am going to try to load up a few subs and work on breaking it in a bit more :nanabang:
