I am partial to the Lee precision trim system. This is made up of a trimmer head that a case guage threads in to and a base that holds the rim of the case and provides a place for a drill to attach to. The case gauge inserts to the case, has collet that fits the case mouth and a pin that protrudes through the firing pin flash hole. Trimming is a matter of locking the case into the trimmer base which is chucked into a drill. Then insert the case gauge that is screwed into the trimmer head and power on the drill until the guage bottoms on the case holder and stops cutting. A complete set up can be had for less than $12. This is about the best system I have found for trimming cases.

To make a case guage for the .300 I purchased a .30 M1 carbine case guage. I then placed two washers on the threaded shank of the gauge to act as spacers between the cutter head and gauge body. I did have to chuck the washers onto one of the felt wheel holders for a dremel and run them against a grind stone to take them down to .280 so as not to interfer with the case mouth.

I just used this set up trim 25 or so cases I had made up and it took me a little bit over 10 minutes. All cases mesure 1.356" on the button. Fast accurate simple cheap, the lee setup is not bad at all.
