I see that the same person who is selling the First Generation Phrobis Chevron is bidding on this......

I'm sure that everyone has seen the results of the XM9 auction by now. Hats off to crayj for a fantastic deal. Wasn't there any other interest out there in the M9 collecting community? I'd love to get some feedback on this.

I was interested as well but the pockets and bank statement are dry. I have been seeing accross my various bad habbits that more and more less common things are showing up for sale and they are selling for less then I would expect.

It is a great time to add to a collection or to start a collection!

I debated selling a few of my extra bayonets off but I am really not sure that it is a good time to be doing so. It is definately a buyers market right now!

Folks, I can tell you that I am very pleased to get this bayonet, I honestly can say that I was prepared to pay more than It closed for.
It was flatly pointed out that I was “selling and buying”, the selling part attracted allot of attention and emails, but with little interst, in the end, I have sold the Chevron for 600.00 post auction, a lower price compared to the original Chevron wave that most of us experienced. As QB has stated and IMO, the current market is best for buying….
I will post the results of the XM9 when I get it.
Thanks all for the positive support.

Congrads on getting the xm9, Chris...If I wasn't short on cash I would have bid on it...I lucked out on getting one earier this year on ebay for 256.00. Unlike the one you got, the scabbard was missing along with the pommel screw and pommel. It came from the auction at the now closed Cammilus cutlery and was sold on Ebay. Rex
