I followed up on a post from rexmeyer and found a site with many collectible M9 bayonets listed:
http://www.popernack.com/shop/shop.php?aID=10&xID=37

I think someone has been hiding this site from the rest of us.

I wouldn't take it too personal.
A forum is a place to share informations with other collectors, but I personally don't see anything terrible if someone were not going to inform the others about a new source for M9s.
If the "rule" here was as follows: as a member of the forum/website you HAVE to share all the informations you have, well then I'm asking myself while I was the only one to post the Buck Interoffice memo about the chevron mark (Rex was, indeed, ready to post it too), the newspaper articles about Finn/Phrobis trial, the Homer Brett article about the sharpening stone and so on.
Am I the only one with the above informations? I don't think so, considering that I'm living in Italy and not in the USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Was I offended because of it? Of course, not!
Also, I saw forum members uploading pictures in the server, here on this website, with a password!
What is the logic about it? Honestly I don't know, as I upload pictures here because I want to share them with the other collectors of this forum. If I didn't want to show a picture I would not post it anywhere, period.
The bottom line of these few words (in my terrible english) is that everytime someone post here pictures, informations, articles he gives a great present to the whole collector's community!
If someone didn't reveal a source to purchase M9s, that's exactly the same as not posting informations/materials he has or share a picture ...... and this happens and happened many time before!

Carlo,

I think you have taken my previous postings wrong. Mr. Moon and I have been corresponding with each other for quite some time off this forum and my comments were just a friendly poke at him. Fabrizio, I apologize if my comments offended you.

I believe your other comments were aimed at me directly. I do not feel that I am accountable to anyone for what I choose to do or not do, but I will respond to your comments. The interoffice memo you mentioned was seen by most of us at the same time when Joe Houser included it with an auction item. Joe mailed a copy to me at my request. Before I even received it you had posted your copy that you must have received via email. Once you posted it there wasn't any sense in someone else putting it up there. As far as other information is concerned, go to the historical pages. I spent a lot of time going over the pages with QB and correcting or clarifying information. I respond to just about every question that is presented and I can't think of any time that I didn't share my information and knowledge freely.

When I started uploading photographs to the server I created a folder titled "porterkids". I was putting these pictures on the server for all to see, again to share my knowledge with other interested collectors. I just recently found out that my folder is not accessable to others. I don't know how to change that and I haven't had time to look into it or to move the files to a different folder. If I didn't want anyone to see them I wouldn't have gone through the trouble of uploading them to begin with.

I guess I'm guilty of making my posts friendly or familiar instead of factual. I won't let that happen again. If any of you have issues with anything I may post in the future please contact me directly and let's leave the forum for its intended purpose.

Bill,
first of all many thanks for your answer!
I think you have taken my previous postings wrong too, indeed
In my words there were, believe me, NOTHING against you (or "aimed at you"), or against (or aimed at) other forum members.
I was just trying to explain, in few words, what I think should be (in my opinion) the philosophy of this forum. Of course, I'm not the creator of this great website, and I do not pretend to give "rules" to someone else...was just trying to explain my point of view in regards of the Fabrizio's decision not to share his M9 source.
I'm sure, and I totally agree, that one Buck Interoffice memo is enough for everybody , but, and I repeat it here, it seems to me a little bit strange that nobody else has some documents to share and that the few ones that were posted came from.......Italy!
I guess that we all want to read posts "friendly or familiar instead of [only]factual" ... just, please, take a look at my avatar!
We are not so many to post regularry on this forum, and I like to consider this a small community of friends with a same interest.
Perhaps I came here with a wrong idea......
As for the pictures, when uploading them the system will ask you to create a public or a private album. Select ........ public!
P.S. I wish Quarterbore could join the discussion here!

For those of you who are interested, I've transfered all of the photos out of the private folder into the public folder. It took a while but once I figured out how to use the software it really was quite easy, just time consuming.
