I e-mailed Noveske on Sunday to ask if they had any more 16.1" 300/221 barrels and this was their response:

Unfortunately we will no longer be manufacturing those barrels. If and when we do it will be posted on our site.

HotLead,

I just got off the phone with John Noveske. There seems to be a bit of a miss understanding. Noveske Rifleworks will continue to make 300-221 Fireball barrels. However, they will not make one-off barrels for an individual. What they are doing is that they make a run of about 30 to 40 barrels at a time (15-20 ~10-inch barrels and 15-20 16-inch barrels) two or three times per year.

After they make a run, they post on their website that they have 300-221 Fireball barrels available. So I suggest that you check there on a regular bases.

In our conversation John Noveske indicated that they would probably make another 300-221 Fireball run with the next month or so... depending on their work load for the more common/popular components.

Well that's good to hear. I called last week and got the same response as Hotlead: go pound sand, and good luck with that...
